pire Lodgie is now in its eleventh
year and in a prosperous condition.
The meeting was in 'the form of 3,
re-unfion,. and a feature of the pro-
ceedings was a paper on the “Inter-
ature, History, Aims and Objects of
Pythaniam” by Past Chancellor J.
H. Williams. At the close of the
meeting i a‘ banquet was spread and
the mem-bers en-tertatined -each other
with song, story and reminiscences
in 8 social way for an hour, closing
with the national anthem. _

off the harbor on Thursday, Jamii-

Captain Murchison, for-merly of Point

hatch, sustaining painful injuries.
The barkentine was twelve miles
northwest! of the Farallones when
the gale burst upon her. The Meyer
was seventy-five days sailing from
Newcastle, and had anotliiir -had
-spell of weather besides the nc she
encountered off the Golden Gate.
Sailing from the Australian port on
October Blat, the barkentine had fine

The matter of amendment to the
City Incorporation Act one of which'

manent works, as"well as changes in

monton Maritime Club was held in
the Separate School hall, Edmon-

ent as enjoyable as possible an-d th#
tokens of appreciation expressed at
the close showed th-at they had suc-

orchestra, the program of dances
comprising sixteen. numbers with
several extras, Refreshments were
served at 11.30 and the -dancing was
continued until after one o'clock.
