hibition Act in the province of Prince
Edward Island and counties of this Pro-
vince, beg to submit the following report.

Island and made careful inquiry and took
evidence concerning the Prohibition Act

is here appended, was brought into force
in the city of Charlottetown by direct act
of the legislative assembly in the year rgoo,
the act to take cfiect in the other counties
of the province whenever the Canada
1906, on the repeal of the Canada Temper
ance Act in the remaining counties, the
law became operative throughout th
Island.
In Charlottetown, in 189i, the Canada,
Temperance Act was repealed and practi- A

until X894, when the Scott Act was again
brought into force.The Act was again re-
pealed and a stringent regulation law was
superseded by the present Prohibition Act_
