FARMER’S AND DAIRYMAN’S ASSO- CIATION, The adjourned meeting of the Farmers’ and Dairyman’s Central Association was held in the Market Hall, Charlottetown. The Morning Session commenced at 11 o’clock, the President, J. C. Underhay, in the chair. The minutes of the preceling meeting were read and approved, and the re-election of the President and the election of James D. McInnis, of St. Peter’s Bay, as Secre~ tary—Treasurer approved and confirmed. The meeting then adjourned to meet again at ove o’clock. ‘ AVTERNOON. Rederick Munn, Esq., of Marshfield, in the chair. J.C. Underbay, from the committee appointed to prepare bye-laws, reported several, the first three making provision for the transaction of the business of the anaual meeting at an adjourned meeting were adopted, and the remainder reserved for further consideration. On motion of J. C. Underhay, seconded by ex-Secretary Vessey, a resolution of sympathy and regret for the death of the Hon. Alexander Laird, ex-President of the Association, was adopted, and the mover requested to forward a copy to Mrs. Laird and to the press for publication. His Honor the Lieutenant-Governor being present, was invited to preside over the meeting; and the consideration of the report from the committee on bye-laws being resumed, resulted in the adoption of ne for ibe admission of Presidents and Lecretaries of Dairying Companies as members of the Association ex-officio, and another for the admission of farmers and dairymen not within reach of a branch society on payment of a fee of 25 cents.
