Colonial Secretary’s Office, Manon 25, 1867. - EALED TENDERS will be received at this Office until MONDAY, thefith day of MAY next, at :2 o'clock, p. m., from any person or persons being willing to furnish the Govei'i‘nnent with a fast-sailing, staunch, substantial VESSEL, of not less than 50 tons burthen, 0. 31., having good Cabin accommodation for passengers, and being sufficiently manned and fully and properly equipped and apparclled, and subject in all things to the approval of the Govern- ment. The said Vessel to be required to run as a packet for the conveyanCe of Her Majesty’s Mails, and for the accommodation of passengers, between the port of Georgetown in this island, and the port of Helen in Nova Scotin, from the 20th day of MAY next until the Slst day of DECEM BER. in tho present year, 1867. The said service required to be. performed as follows, viz: The Packet shall leave Georgetown wharf for Pictou, and Pictou for Georgetown, upon such days, during the above named period, as shall be fitted upon by the Government, and shall be subject to such alteration in the days fixed for leaving Georgetown and Pictou as the Govern- ment shall at any time direct and require. The Tender is required to name the age, tonnage, rig and month“ modation of the vessel tendered, and also the sum which the Ten derer will engage to perform the whole term of service for, and fur' nish, also, the names of two persons of known responsibility, wh‘) will became bound for the due performance of the service. All freight and passage money to be the property of the owner ofthe Vessel.
