Miss Shirley Jenkins, reports on the progress of the school closing pro- srsm was heard from the differ- ent committees. A short dis- cussion took place regarding the school picnic. and it was suggested that it be held the third Wednes- day afternoon in June so that all out-of-town teachers and students might participate. In his kindly and competent manner Mr. weunore congratulat- ed the cast on getting all the comedy possible out of the play. and on their good voices and well- d move ts. He pointed out that the performance might have been improved if cues had been picked up faster and the general tempo of the performance increased. He continued by saying it was the aim of an adjudicator to offer help wherever possible. arid of the cast to make their characterizat- ions as bellevable as possible. Following his adjudication he named four members of the cast whom he suggested might be kept in mind for acting awards. These were Mrs. M. Binns as "Tessie." J. MacDonald as "Timothy." J. D.
