During the first six months of the present fiscal year, only 174 agri- cultural iaborcrs entered Canada from the British Isles, including the Irish Free State. During the fiscal year 1929-30 the figure for this immigration was 13,257, in 193031 it had dropped to 4,557, and last year 551. From European countries, agricultural laborers entered Can- ada during the first, half of the present year tc the number of 65, only 50 in the fiscal year 1931-32, and 12,118 in the preceding year.
