General Melikeff, Chief of the new Ex. ecutive Commission, was fired at by a student, with a reveiias this afternoon, when alighting from his carriage at his residence in Grand Moskaia. Gen. Melikeff was not seriously hurt. The culprit, who feigns iisanity, was seized by the Cossacks. The Duke of Edinburgh, all high offi- cials, and many others have congratulated Melikotfon his escape from assassination to-day. After the morning serenade on Tuesday, the Czar held a reception at which the efhi- cers of the Imperial’ suite, and higher grades of the army were present.
