IN MBMDRIAM MR. DAVID CAMPBELL On Sept. 27th, Mr. David Camp- bell. passed peacefully to his eternal reward, at the home of his son Russel. at Montague, after an illness of only two days duration. a paralytic stroke. The late Mr. Campbell who was 73 years of age. lived the greater part of his life on his father's old homestead, at New Perth. and was a man of ster- ling qualities, honored and res- pected by all who knew him. For the past year and a half, he has lived with his son Russel, who settled at Montague, after his re- turn from the war. Mr. Campbell had been in failing health for some yrears, but lately had lbeen very well and could walk out every dnyftlll he was suddenly stricken a few days previous to his death. He spent a very. happy life at Montague with his son Russel and his amiable English wife, who did everything in her power to make hlin happy and comfortable. The funeral which ‘was from the Christain Church, Montague, was largely attended. Rev. C. E. Arni- strong, pastor of thochurch. gave a very appropriate message tto the congregation. and many comfort- fng words to the relatives. The floral tributes were lovely.
