As there is only one department in this school at present, and as the pupils' ages run from four years old and upwards, the teacher has not gotasnap by any means. It is surprising what progress is being made in the different branches in which they were carefully examined, which reflects credit on the teacher. At the close of the examination an abundant supply of candy given by the teacher and apples by A. A. Moore, were passed around, which de- lighted both young and old.
