` Sunday, September lst was a mem-
orable one for the congregation of the
Mt. Stewart Presbyterian Church, it
being a memorial service in honor_
of the heroes of the district, several
of whom have already made the sup-'
reme sacrifice, while others are:
bravely carrying on the ' splendid'
fight for liberty and right. '
The services of the day were con-
ducted by Rev. R. P. Murray, their
being a very large attendance. l
A special feature of the service
was the unveiling of a lovely Honor
Roll by Miss Jennie Douglas, daugh-L
ter of Mrs. Emma Douglas, whose
brother is numbered among the iai-

Cook, the choir never being in better,
voice. At the close of this interesting

which was deeply affecting,
