     push UPEI into becoming a

     The Premier refuted this, 
     
     but suggested there were 
     
     forces at work already, 
     
     that were "pulling" the 
     
     University in that direc— 
     
     tion. 
     
    

    
     " I 'm not Suggesting 
     
     courses in net mending, or 
     
     compass reading," he said. 
     
    

    
     He added that, "many 
     
     new areas are opening up 
     
     in Education and many of 
     
     them are exciting ones," 
     
    

    
     According to the Premier 
     
     North American Universities 
     
     in general must examine 
     
     more closely what they are 
     
     doing to prepare students 
     
    
   
   
    
     consequently,
