To come home, they have seen the trick that was attempted to be played with the Island franchise, and they have seen the way in which the Island railway was treated last winter. They have seen the tide turning against the Refor- mers; and even Island Reformers have no fondness for getting into a waggon on the descending track, with a precipice at the bottom. We will look with considerable interest to the result in Queen’s County.
