Pinette, upon the atitainment of his 90th birthday, when his family and friends gathered to of- fer congratulations and best wish- es. Mr. Cantelo still retains his good health and eye sight, never uses glasses. He has an excellent memory. and can recount much of the past history of the Pinette district. He made the sea his lifetime occupation making his first voy- age, as a boy at the age of thir- teen on the Brigantine, “Lottie Belle” bound, for New York with a cargo of potatoes.
