The president in her remarks voiced her appreciation or the co- operation she had received during her year's term of office. The secretary-treasurer then gave the financial report, which showed $055.30 receipts for the year and expenditures $547.00 leaving a hal- ance on hand $108.27. It was moved seconded and carried that this re- port be adopted. The auditors re- ported having examined the books and found them to be correct. The Red Oross convenor reported six children's pyjamas, six children's nightgowns, five dresses, ten toques, five girl's sweaters, four pairs boy's stockings, three pairs girl's ankle socks. , The siok committee reported two calls during the month. Christmas cards were distributed and paid for. The birthday box was opened, its contents amount- illg to $4.18. Contributions were received for the Salvation Army amounting to $31.50 and the Protestant Orphanage $23.50. She also reported the completing and forwarding of a quilt which the Institute had been making for a family in an- other communiiy who had the misfortune to lose their home by fire.
