The new superintendent of the Halifax Division, W. E. Robinson. was born at North Sydney, N. S.. and first entered railway service as station agent at Ingramport, N.S.. on January 10th. 1005. The follow- ing year he transferred to the position of freight clerk at Bridge- water, N. S.. being subsequently tic- ket agent. train despatcher. freight agent and train despatchcr at Bridgewater. During this period, , for a short time he acted as stat- ‘ ion agent at Port Wade. NS. Sev- ering his connections with the rail- way servlce in I911 when he went to Western Canadmhe returned to the east and recntered railway ser- vice as train despatcher at Bridge- water on August i, 1913. and was appointed successively chief des- patcher and assistant superintend- slit. On February 1. 1927. he was transferred to Moncton as assist- ant superintendent and two years later to Campbellton in the same capacity. being advanced fc super- intendent on October 1, 1929. On September i. i932. he was trans- ferred to the position of superin- tendent of the Moncton Division. H. V. Musgrave, who succeeds W. E. Robinson as silperiiiteiitlent of the Moncton Division.
