The wounded men are now nearly ull dead or well, and as the bankers have no authori’y to use the $65,000 'o alleviate the suff-rings of the troops in the Philip- pives,the money is lying idle. Mies Adelaide Lanc’ot, of Chat- ewuguav, N. Y., was miraculously cured last week at the shrine of St Anne de Beaupre, of a malady that for twelve years had rendered her practically helpless. Tue young lady was troubled with spinal di-ease, aod for several years had to move about withthe aid of crrichee, and even then tLe cou'd not move more than a few yards without resting.
