The death of Mr. Otto Curtis, of Milton, which is announced in another column, will be learned with regret by many of ourreaders. Mr. Curtis came to this Island from England when a boy, and spent nearly all the remainder of his long life in Milton, where he became thorough- ly identified with the settlement, and well aod favorably known by ail the peop e of the surrounding country. Having attained the grestage of 85 years he was called to his long rest on the eleventh day of August last. We deeply regret to learn of the death of Theresa M, daughter of Margaret and the late Thos. McOluskey, which occured at the residence of P. McCluskey, Pownal S’. on Sunday Sept. 20d 1900. The deceased was quiet unassuming character and was loved and respected by all who had the plensure of her acquaintance. The funeral took place this morning to St. Dunstan’s Cathedral thence to Kelly’s Cross cemetery. The pall bearers were Dr, J. A. Bradley, James McCluskey, Patrick Mooney,James Duffy, Wm.
