August-17th Prominent in professional and sporting circles. the late Doctor Beer practised dentistry in this city for a period of fifty years. At the time of his death he was in his 73th year. Dr. Beer was born in Char- lottetown in 1580 and was the can of the late F. Herbert Beer and Mrs. Beer. the former Margar- et MacKeehnie. In his youth tha late Dr. Beer attended West Kent School and Prince of Wales College Later he enrolled at In- diana University where on com- pletion of his studies he was granted the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Beer pract- ised his profession briefly in Louis ville, Ky. before returning to commence practicing in Ilia native city. In 1905 the late Dr. Beer was married to Isobel May MacGreg- or.
