SES REE EN Dollars & Sense — Business Society Hello Business Students. We would like to thank everybody for making last Thursday’s pub at the Barn a tremendous success. Strawberry Jam rocked the barn down. For the graduating students in business the grad jackets will be ordered soon. There is a movie pub on Friday November 25. This should prove to be a good time because the famous policy pre- sentations conclude on this day. There will be live entertain- ment in the lounge on Friday (early) evening. Thanks to our own Prof. Joanne Veer, History Professor-turned-interior decorator, the room now has a more comfortable and stylish ap- pearance. We would like to ex- tend our sincere thanks to Pro- fessor Veer for her tasteful inova- tions. The room will also double as somewhat of an art gallery, ex- hibiting some of Canada’s finest works. It will certainly be a switch from looking at some of Canada’s finest boxes! The lounge will also be equipped with a typewriter and computer to aid any history ¥ HISTORY f Socyery TY and the Alumni. It is highly un- likely that the Business Society team will be defeated this year because of their highly successful opening. Good luck to all policy stu- dents doing their presentations this week and we will see you all at the Barn on Friday evening: scholar who may have papers to do. We hope that when the lounge is finished all you history majors will make full use of its benefits. The History Society will be holding a movie pub on Decem- ber 2nd at the Barn, featuring the movies Planes, Trains, and Auto- mobiles and The Untouchables. The next History Society Vol- leyball game will be held on Jan. 5. There will be none held in the exam period or during Christmas break.
