SARGENT PHILLIPS — One of the largest funerals in O'l.eary for many, years was held on Sunday, Nov. 27 when all that was mortal of Mr. Sargent Phillips was laid to rest. Funeral service was held from his late residence at 12:30 p.m. con- ducted by Rev. W. G. Dickson, who also conducted service in 0'Leary United Church at 1:30 p.m., which was filled to overflowing, to pny their tribute of respect to one who was so loved, one who was a faithful husband, a devoted father, a kind neighbor and a loyal friend. The minister was assisted at the church by Rev. George Cunning- ham and Rev. C, O. Hewlett. The floral tributes were numerous and pretty. Interment was in Mount Royal cemetery. To all the sorrow- ing loved ones, we extend our heartfelt sympathy. Special music was rendered by the choir nndt-r the leadership of Mrs. .l.
