A London Firm instructs Us.
' “We have been instructed by a l"ur firm in London, England, to dispose
of forty-eight pieces of Oreuberger-l\liuk and Squirrel furs, comprising ruffs,
muffs and scarfs, in the latest desigiis-iiiauy of thcni only one sett of its kind.
They were sent to the Island by mistake.
The firm they were shipped to, would not take dclivcry as they were not
as ord.red. 'l`hey were held in the Customs bonded warehouse for the last three
months, to the shippers order.
We received orders to pay the duty and sell them for what they would
bring, as re-shipping back to London would cost too much. _ _
\Ve will not stock the ‘e Furs, but will dispose of them at a price that will
make tliein scamper. If you ire interested in Fur buying this fall, the prices
will be as low, if not lower, tl1a.i_fnrs are offered at during january after stock is
