What Would You do With a Mi- lion Dollars ? The prize offered by the Rev. W. A. Maslean for the best essay on ‘‘Wbhat woald you do with a million dollars,” was won by Miss Ella Arsenault, with the following. — If I possessed a million dollars at present I would divide & portion of it equally between churches that need imprevement, schoels hospitals nnd to good societies, also to give to poor for charity s sake. I would keep enough to make a trip around the world. bat not to make my trip too expensive. Then I would build or buy a home in the coantry where I would like to live, but not make it with too much extravagance either. I would put two or three thousanü dollars in the bank of British North America on interest. Another thing, I would like very much to get a good education, and to learn to:play severa! kinds of instruments, to learn also some good trade such as milliner, dressmaker, or bookkeeper. After having learned the trade of milliner, I would start right to work as there is no use of being idle when we can do some good in this world, 1 woald also provide for my parents while they would live. Where I would like to live is indeed a hard question to rep!'y to. There are many nice places and fine clim- ates. But as 1 have heard it said that every country has its fauls in climate, I think E would live in one that I know. At Ottawa, in Ontario, I would build or buy a home for my varents and myself. Having a trade right in the city I would be near home whieh would be in a secluded part of the eity. My reasons for living in Ontario would be that it has a healthy and moderate elimate, neither very se- vere in tbe winter or too warm in Bad coughs, colds and catarrh are cespousible for more consump- tion than is traceable even to here- dity. Catarrhozone cures more quickly than ordinary remedies be- cause it is tlie only antiseptic yet | discovered that is volatile enough to reach the root of the trouble in remote parts of the lungs and bronchial tubes, and impregnate every particle of the air breathed with its healing, germ-killing va- por. Colds can't stand ten minu- tes, or coughs more than thirty mi- nutes when Catarrhozone is inhal- ed. It clears nose, throat and air passages at once, stops dropping, headache, and erradicates catarrh from any part of the system. Two months’ treatment, $1.00 ; trial size 250. ) The Critical Time of Life Is between the years of fifty-se- ven and sixty-two, Nature’s po- wer slows, down vitality becomes less, and the progres of decay sets in.
