Tho management are indeed to be congratulated, for the exhibition was one of the best county fairs WIlJiCIl has even been held in this province. Good weath- er marked the occasion, and the attendance was consequently large, great numbers of farmers and their wives and fnmllfres‘ from the sur- rounding country being in attend- nnce. The live stock exhibit was the main feature and it proved a, dis- tinct improvoment over that of last year in every partioulnn The horses were on the whole a splen- did lot and the cattle would have done jusii-ce to a show of much greater pretensions. Thev were brought out in splendid condition and made a very fine showing. The Ayrshire young ma- terial all showed evidence of good breed and'the most of it of good care and fitting; but a number of young animals could have handled more feed to advantage. In l-lolsteins some very good grades of this breed were also shown. ‘Only one herd of plllli-DTHI Holstelns were displayed, that of Mi" A. W.
