The governor stated was a real pleasure for him to take an official part in the Sum- merside - Lobster Carnival. He also expressed his thanks. to the president of the carnival W. Chester S. MacDonald, directors, and all those who helped to make the carnival possible. ° Acting as chairman for the ceremonies .were Major George | -Key Jr, and Rev’ David Mac- Donald, MP for Prince County The official opening was fol- lowed by a-concert presented. by -—-the-Roval_Canadian-Legion_hand under the direction of William Conkev.
