Collection for the evening amounted to $111 and Penny Tic- ket Article brought in 89 cents. Mrs. MacLeod put on a contest which caused much amusement and prizes were won by Mrs. E. Morrison, Mrs. Mabel MacFJach- ern, Mrs. Wm. Ross and Mrs. Nell MacKinnon. The hostess served lunch. sisted by Mrs. V. Prizzell. The president thanked Mra. In 1946 a pupil from this school was successful in winning a Provincial scholarship. Again in 1947 one pupil won a Provin- cial scholarship and another a Bell scholarship.
