on April Sth 1916. When the sudden
tidings of his departure was made
known to his many friends in this
province, everyone sympat-hized 'with
the tender hearts so sorely tried in
their hour of no ordinary bereavement
Deceased was a son of the lute George
Learri of Crapaud, I’. E. I. and was in
his 66th year. He was in usual health
until 'tile day of his death when he
was seized with heart trouble. Medi-
eal aid was immediately .summoned
when ho scorned appareiitly recover-
ing, but tho shadows of the end were
getting closer ai_}il__d_espite all earthly
ties on the eve 0 the 'eighth he passed
from this world to _the great beyond.
He was born iii Crapaud=hut when
only a youngwman removed to_l’isquid
where ho carried on =_bu_u_i`ii`epls_, as a
miller, and while in his youth at Crap-
aud and in his life at Pisquid li,o_ gain-
