Popular Vote "We did not win in the Provin- cial general election and on the surface it might appear as if we 10st ground, but we cannot admit that this is so, as our Party obtain- ed practically fifty percent of the popular vote. In Queens County there was a majority Conservative vote, so there is no reason that we as a Party should be down-heart- ed or reluctant to attack vigor’- ousiy in future contests.
