He has been admitted to the General Hospital at Camiers. WOUNDED IN BATTLE.-- The friends of Mr. John O. Davis, who left Charlottetown in January, 1915 for Liverpool, England, his native place, where he enlisted in the Liverpool Pals Regiment, ia now in hospital in Eng- land, having been wounded in action. at the front. His many friends here will he sorry to hear this and will sincerely hope to hear aoon_o! his re- covery. Mr. Davis, for a time repre- sented the firm of Robert Simpson & Co., Montreal, and wa also employed with Mr. J. J. Hornby. ANNANDALE.-On Sabbath last the Rev. Wm. McLeod Dr_es.ched at Annandale Presbyterian Church at 11 a. m.. taking for a subject “Tho Lord’a Prayer. The prayer meeting in the Baptist Church at '1 p. m., was led by Deacon John Howlett. There was quite a large audience and a goodly interest manifested.-Misses Dixon and McDonald passed through Annandale on Saturday.- The Jackson Brothers of Fortune Bridge were in Annandale on Snbbath.-- Mr. W. H. Uuderhay. the Egg Collector, passed through this vicinity on Tuesday. He reports his business brisk. The fishing is fair with lobsters but fresh bait ia some- what scarce.- Ccroping ia about done with the exception of turnips and buck- wheat.--U. ‘ In loving remembrance of Charles McMillan who died on May 10th at his home Cove Head at the itipe old age of 90 years. Ho leaves to mourn one son Wendall on the old home, be- sides two brothers Robert Bracklcy, 1-‘uint Road, Donald Rusticn and one sister Mrs. James Laird, New Glas gow, P. E. I., besides scores of friends who will cherish the memory of a grand old man, whom to know was to love. The funeral took place from his home, and he was laid to rest in the McMillan burying ground. The services at the houae and grave was conducted by Rev. Dr. Fullerton.
