S. MacArthur, Union Road, when the neighbors gathered to welcome them to the district. The following address was read by Mrs. Harry Newman and presentation of a purse made by Mr. Allie Holmes. To Mr. and Mrs. MacArthur and famllyze We have met here this evening to further welcome you to our community. What finer thing can be said of a person than that "He is a good neighbor” and we have found this qualification to fit everyone of the MacArthur family. We deeply appreciate the splen- did spirit of service which you have showm in your activities in the church and community, also those fine qualities of mind and heart which have made us feel you are one of us. We wish you to accept this small token of fellowship from grateful friends and neighbors and may your stay among us be long and exceedingly pleasant for all.
