Edward Johnson Dies In Hospital

GUELPH, Ont. Johnson, former general mana- ger of the Metropolitan Opera, died in hospital Monday night shortly after collapsing while at- tending the opening of a ballet performance here. He was 90.

Dr. Johnson collapsed in the foyer of Guelph Memorial Gar- dens where the National Ballet of ‘Canada was to perform and died in-hospital 30 minutes later of coronary thrombosis.
