VALUABLE PROPERTY FOR SALE

TO be sold by Public AUCTION. on FRIDAY. 25th day of NOVEMBER next. (1864). at the hour of 12 o'clock, noon, at the COLONIAL BUILDING. in Char- lottetown. pursuant to two several Licenses duly granted for that purpose by his Honor the Surrogate and Judge of'Pro- bate of this Island. hearing date respectively. the 12th day of February, A. D. 1856. and the 31st day of August. A. D. 186-1, all the right, title and interest of the Hon. DONALD MCDONALD. late of GLENALADALE, in Queen‘s County, in Prince Edward Island, deceased, in and to all that tract, piece or parcel of land, part of Township Number 'l‘inaTY- sxx. in the said Island, containing 1937 Acres of LAND. a little more or less, described and bounded as follows, that is to say z—comiuencing at asquare stake ﬁxed on the North Shore of llillsborough River, in the east bound- ary of a Tract of Land in possession of the Heirs of the late Angus McKenzie; thence following the courses of the East boundary North for the distance of one hundred and ten (110) chains; thence by a right angle line running \Vest for the distance of twenty (20) chains ; thence by a right angle line running North for the distance of twenty- five (25) chains, thence by a right angle line running \Vest for the distance of forty (40) chains ; thence by a right angle line running North for the distance of one hundred and ninety-two (192) chains to the South boundary of a Tract of Land in possession of Donald Steele ; thence by a right angle line running East for the distance of ninety (90) chains, or until it meets the division line between said Lot or Township No. thirty~six (36) and Lot or Township thirty-seven (37), thence following the course of said Divi- sion line according to the Magnetic North of the year 1704. South to said Shore, thence following the various courses of the said Shore westwardly to the place of commencement.

ALSO in and to all that other tract, piece or parcel of Land situate on Township No. 36 aforesaid, described and bounded as follows, that is to say: commencing at a post on the North Shore of the Ilillsborough River at the East boundary line of land in the possession of the Ileirs of‘the late Angus McKenzie, thence North one hundred and ten (110) chains, thence East twenty (20) chains, thence North twenty-ﬁve ('25) chains, thence West forty (40) chains, thence North to the South boundary of land in the posses- sion of Donald Steele, thence East to the division line of Townships Nos. thirty-six (36) and thirty-seven (37). thence North to the Pond. thence following the courses of the Pond to land sold to William Christopher McDonald. thence following the East and South boundaries thereof to Bedford Bay, thence Southwardly along the Shore to the Division line of Townships Nos. Thirty-five and Thirty-six, thence South along the said Divison line to a Settlement Road, thence Eastwardly to the East boundary line of the Chapel land, thence along the boundaries of the said land to the aforesaid Division line, thence South to the East boundary line of the Arisag Estate, thence along the said line to the North Shore of the Ilillsborough River, to land in the occupation of Jennings, thence along the boundaries of the said land to the shore of the Ilillsborough River, thence Eastwardly to the westboundary lincofland in the occupation of John Archibald McDonald, thence al0ng the boundaries of the said land to the Mill Pond, thence along the Pond and Greek to the East boundary line of land in the occupation of Philip Smith, thence North to the north line of land sold for assessment. thence following the boundaries of the said land to the before-named East boundary line ofland in the occupation of the said Philip Smith, thence south to the beforemamed Creek, thence following the shore of the said Creek and llillsborough River to the place of commencement, containing an area of Five thousand three hundred and seventy-eight Acres of Land, a little more or less. And also, in and to all that other Tract of Land bounded as follows, ﬁzz—«commencing at the South-west angle of Land in the occupation of Alex- ander McDonald, being the supposed division line of Town- ships Nos. thirty-six and thirty-seven at the time of the granting ofthe hereinbefore mentioned license of the date of the 12th day ofh‘ebruary, 185G, thence Northwardly for

the distance of'I‘wo hundred and ten chains, thence East five chains, thence. Northwardlv to the South boundary line of the aforesaid Donald Steele‘s land, thence along the said line to the division line of Townships Nos. thirty‘six and thirty-seven. thence south to the Ilillshorough River. thence along the River to the place of commenCement, containing an area of 253 Acres of Land, a little more or less, and which three several tracts of land contain together an area of 7568 Acres, a little more or less, and are more parti cularly delineated and laid down on a Map or Plan filed in the Ofﬁce of the Judge of Probate.
