The regular monthly meeting of the Provincial Council, , Boy scouts Association, was held in the office of the Travel Bureau yesterday afternoon. At the N- queet of the President, Major N. w. Lowther, M.M.. the Provincial Conamiasioner. Lt.-Col. W. W. Reid, D.S.O., E.D., presided.

The Commissioner, it wss annovunced. desired to meet as many Scouts and scout leaders as possible dur- zng his short stay. A noon lunch- eon with the Executive on the 30th was planned followed in the evening at 6 o'clock by a meet- ing of all Scouters.

Grain Prepared For Distribution To Came Birds

Fifteen to 20 members of Pheas- ants Unlimited and other inter- csted sportsmen, met last night 4t the Livestock Marketing Board premises on Fitzroy street where some two tons of grain were bag- gcd preparatory to distributing it by plane over the week-end in a move to provide supplementary iced for game birds. It is feared that the upland game birds are suffering from lack of food since the arrival of deep snow at Christ- mas.
