Show Opens lit Spring Park Field

The Model Shows of Canada, sponsored by the Canadian Leg- ion. opened yesterday at the Spring Park Field on Elm Avenue, and vivili be going full swing clay and night for one week. This show, the name of which may he a bit misleading to many people. is ivhat is commonly known as "The Midway" and is comprised of many varieties of rides. games, sideshows and refreshment booths and gives promise of providing much amusement and entertain- ment. being the type of show which can be appreciated by ioung and old alike. Judging from the large crowds which were starting to flock out there early -ast evening, it is quite apparent that the local people are going lo take full advantage of the enter-
