Miss June R. Peterson, daugh- ter of Mrs. Albert E. Peterson- nee Ruth l. Harper. formerly of East Royalty. left for "The Great -Lakes" U. Naval Training Station in Chicago for a tour of duty as a Wave in the U. 5. Navy on Tuesday.

On Friday, July 27, prior to her departure. Miss Peterson was tendered a "going away" party by her business associates of the Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation of Boston. Later in the evening a social was held by her mother and the Pilgrim Fel- lowship of the North Congrega- tional Church of Woburn, Mass. At both gatherings she was pre- sented with gifts and the best wishes of all were extended to her.
