Fertilizer ‘ Shipping Rush Is Underway

The first fertilizer boat of the fall shipping season docked at the Railway Wharf Tuesday with more than 7,000 tons of super phosphates. -

The ship, the MV Mexican Trader, under the command of C a pta in Nikolous Stilianou. brought her cargo here from Baltimore, Maryland. Unloading operations got underway immed- iately after the ship was tied up yesterday afternoon and is ex- pected to take more than a

David Scales of the local plant said last night that the Mexican Trader. is scheduled to return here in a few weeks time with a second full cargo of phosphates, and in addition two other ships are due later this month with full cargoes of potash.
