two o'clock this morning fora fire in a double- tenement house on Richmond Street, occupied by Stephen Coyle and J. W. Higgins. The fire started inthe kitchen of the tenement occupied by the last-mentioned family, and was caused, it is thought, by some kindling wool in the neighborhood of the stove taking fire accidentally. The fire was extinguishe without causing any more serious damage than burning a hole through the kitchen floor.
