Anyone wandering the
hallowed halls of Kelley
last anday would have ,‘ noticed the moronic smiles adorning the faces of most Seniors, as they were given a reprieve of one week on the due date for their Policy projects. For those of you who scorn at our discomfort and confidently

This year the Car- nival will start with a movie on Sunday night and end with "Campus Cabaret" on the fol- lowing Sunday, at the Confederation Centre.
Eur those of you who were here three yearslago you will remember that the Campus Cabaret they had was a great success. For those of you who do not know,Campus Cabaret is a large Variety SI’DW. We have been talking with Joan MacFarlane,chairman of the Drama Club and hope- fully things can be ar- ranged in time.
We hope that all sec- tions of the University; staff, administration, student services,the residences, the classes, faculties, and socities will take part in this planned event. ‘
In years past, the Winter Carnival Ball has always been considered as THE social event of the
Year. . This _year we hope A:
to havequ social events 0f the year, and both of them dur ing the same W983i. These events being the Carnival Ball and Calupus Cabaret.

OWed by a beer bash. (Sorry I forgot to mention that
this year the Ball is being held on Friday night.)So‘ the teams will be allowed to go to at least one bash and the Campus Cabaret.
Many of the events that were held last year will also be held this year, eg. fashion, show,talent pub car rally, bashes,ball,cof-- fee houses,and yes,once . again we will try to have snow sculptures.
there will be a pre—saie of tickets once again this year.It was very succeszd last year.Not only did it prevent line-ups but it . also made iteasier for the Campus Police. We hate to keep harping on the Liverp- ool Affair of two years ago (over 1000 in the line—up) but we suggest that you buy early. ‘ By the way, for those of you who didn‘t know, all events were SOLD OUT in advance last year.

Business Students, at Del. Emanuel Amoebi, Iori Mul- lin, Ivy Bender, John (row- boat)R3we, and Bruce Mac— Donald succeeded in thor— oughly erbarrassing us due to their somewhat sodden condition BUT they ob- viously also did a great job representing us as they managed ‘to secure the conference for UPEI next year - congratulations. Speaking of sodden con- dition, I feel Imust‘men- tion here, the conduct ' of some Bus. students at last week's Pig. I won't mention any names but, although we're glad that Richard Brown, Derek Huestis and Norm Bishara had a good time, did they have to prove it by floundering through six inches of beer on the floor under their 11313163??? Actually, I'm glad they did — they re— stored my faith in the ability of Bus. students to party better than any— one else, anywhere (at
