See the judging of the Maritimes’ finest livestock and compare your choice with those of the highly experienced judges. Your eyes will be opened when you see the top types of Maritime Stock raisers led out for review. See too, the top flight vaudeville program staged afternoon and evening in the Coliseum. . .

Admission to the grounds through the main gate will be 25 cents.
Children under 12 years of age accompanied by parents will be admitted

LIVESTOCK ’
The greatest cattle, horse and swine shows in the history of the Provincial Exhibition will be presented this year. Never have so many cattle entries been received and officials fear th re may be difficulty in finding accommodation for the entire classes. The horse and swine entries. are also well above the number of past years. ’
There.will be plenty of fun and not a little excitement in the Jones
Pavilion where the judging is scheduled to take place. Horses will be judged on‘ Monday and any unfinished classes completed on Tuesday. Cattle will be judged on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, any unfinish-
ed classes finished on Friday.
Judging takes‘place 'as follows: Monday-+HorSes; TueSday:—’-Angus, Hereford and Hol- steins; Thursday—Red Polls, Dual Purpose Shorthorns and Jerseys; and Friday—Any unfinished judging and additional program to be announced later. I l
It is expected large crowds will flock to the judging rings and show circle where the cream of Maritime livestock goes on parade. '
Once again we take pride in the fact that our encouragement coupled with that of the Dominion and Provincial Governments, has brought our standard of qualityso high that we are known throughout the length and breath of the Ameri continent as among the best producers of special types of horses, cattl , sheep, swine and poultry.
We want every one to take an interest and lend encouragement to this important side of our Old Home Week Program. Our exhibitors are in no small way contributing to the prosperity of the Garden of the Gulf. » - ‘
We invite and urge the public to visit the numerous Livestock barns which will be crowded to capacity with livestock valued at many hundreds of thousands of dollars. . r- I -
‘ POULTRY
The Exhibition recognizes the growing interest in and importance of the Poultry Industry. Again this year, the exhibits promise to be out~ standing and should be viewed by crowds of poultry enthusiasts. The best of the live ones will be on display in the special Poultry Building. Interest in this aspect of the Fair extends from one end of the'Province to the other. small expense. " _
BILL LYNCH’S 1958 MIDWAY
The Midway has been a popular part of the Exhibition and Old Home Week dowu through the years. It is a. mecca for the younger fry and a source of great entertainment for older folk. Bill Lynch and his retinue of entertainers need no introduction to Island audiences. They are part and parcel of the Big Fair and always welcome. '

\ WOMEN’S INSTITUTES A
One of the most popular ShOW'Buildings on the Grounds is that run by the Women’s Institutes. Be sure and include this outstanding show place in your visit to the Exhibition. There will be hundreds of exhibits, an indication of the steady mounting interest in this part of the “Old Home Week” program. Exhibits will include handicraft and home-cook- ing and preserving etc. In addition there will be a display of flowers in attractively arranged booths. One-third more space in the building has been allocated to the Women’s Institute to accommodate their entries.
