In Memoriam

MR5. MINNIE RYAN

Relatives and friends through- out the prcvince and elsewhere were grieved to hear of the pass- ing of Mrs. Minnie Ryan. (nee Cain), at. her home 50 Gerald Street. early Thursday mqmlng.‘ eb. 8th.

The late Mrs. Ryan had been in failing health for a year or more. but ivas confined to her bed only a month and in spite of the lov- ing care and affection which she received. she finally succumbed to the will of God. after having re- ceived the last rites of the Cath- olic Church. of which she was s fervent and devoted member. Mrs. Ryan will long be rememb- ered by her intimate friends ‘and neighbors for her kind disposition and Christian Charity.

She was born at Summe ville. P. E. 1.. Nov. 20. 1872. being the daughter of the late Bridget Kelly and Edward Cain.

Denis had been home on s visit m, his mother. but unfortunately it was necessary for him to leave on_return to his duties the morn- previous to his‘ mother's death. Also left to mourn are two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Donahoe. Arlington, Mass., and Mrs. Ellie O'Keefe. Lexington. . Mass. He!‘ husband John. predeceased her about thirty years ago.

The funeral which was largely attended took place from her late residence Saturday morning. Feb. 10th to St. Dunstanb Basilica where requiem High Mass was sung by the Rev. Louis A. Dougan. who also conducted services at the grave. Interment was in the catholic cemetery. Charlottetown.
