OTTAWA (CP) — Canadian goods will be shown at 45 fcr- eign trade fairs this year under an expanding program that is proving to be a bargain for ex- port-minded industries in drum- ming up all kinds of new bust ness in other countries

Growing from 13 entries ws 1960, the trade fair program has developed into a major wedge of Canada’s efforts to squeeze into competitive overseas mar- kets

Despite the bargain offered to interested firms by the trade department's program, many still have to be sold on the idea.
