It is withdraw- ing from them the cheese bonus inaugurated by the BENNETT administration last summer, under the terms of which they stood to benefit to the extent of one million dollars annually. The ex- cuse given for \vitl1dra\\'ing the bonus is that Canada is developing a market for its cheese in the United States. and that the continuance of the bonus might endanger this business. as it would leave the Dominion opell to the charge of being an unfair competitor and of halting its product ex-rllnlcd.

Its wheat farm- ers are being paid 87 1-2 cents per bushel as a minimum price for their wheat.
