Battle of Britain Sunday and is pobserved by the R. C. A. F. every ‘year in honor of those gallant few who defended Britain in the air

airforce threat. From that time [in the fall of I940 the skies over Britain in the daytime were con- trolled by the R. A. F. The Sum- merside R. C. A. F. station will ob- serve that day this year by a church parade. The parade con- sisting of three flights of R.'C. a. FE, and one flight of Air Cadets Will form up in front of the Queen Hotel and will follow the follow- ing route: Up Central Street to Fitzroy; along Fitzroy to Gran- iville; u-p Granville to Notre Dame and across to Summer and then to Memorial Park. The parade will tum in at the park and form up in line facing the monument. The commanding officer of the station, Sqdh. Ldr. W. C. Lang- staff, D.F.C., will lay a wreath on

Summerside Man Reports Hold-up l‘ Attempt 0n Street

Mr. Henry Chan, the Chinese proprietor of the New Life Cufe, Summerside, reports an attempted hold-up on o Summerside street in ‘the early hours of Sunday morn- ng.
