GENERAL ORDER, BY HIS EXCELLENCY THE COMMANDER-IerHlEF. 11E Annual Training of the Ollicers oi the lst Queen’s County Regiment of Militia will Commence on MON DA 1', the 21st JANUARY, 1867.

For this purpose the whole of the Ollicers residing in Charlotte- town will assemble in the NEW DltlLL SHED, at 8 o‘clock, p. m., on that day.

The following Will he the District limits and numerical order of the Ollicers of the several Companies of the above Regiment :

No. 1 Company—Capt. Wm. '1‘. Ellis. Lot 12; Lieut. James Ellis, (Wm’s. son) do.; Ensign Edward Ellis, do. Precinct of Com- pany—From the line of Lot 11 on both sides of Barlow Road to Barclay’s Mill; all on the north side of said mill stream, and Bideford River.

No. 2—Capt. James Barclay, Lot 12; Lieut Win. Ellis, (George’s son); Ensign AlbertWilliams, Lot 12. Precinct—From Bzirclay’s Mill to A. MacLeau’s; all on the north side of Trout Biver, Ca- nada Settlement and the road to Robinson’s included.

No. 3-Capt. Richard Kinley, Enmore River; Lieut. Alexander McArthur,Egmont Bay; Ensign Andrew llamsay, Western Road. Precinct—All from the line of Lot 11, on the Western Road to Lot 14. including all on Lots 12 and 13 to the west shore.

No. 4- Cupt. John Yco, Esq., Port Hill; Lieut. Donald Montgo— mery, Lot 18; Ensign Thomas Adams. Precinct—All from Al- lan McLean’s to Richard Gorrill’s; all on the Northam Road to McKay’s Mill and round the western shore of Richmond Bay to Allan McLean's.

No. 5—Capt Hugh Ramsay (David's son) Port Hill; Lieut. John Montgomery, do.; Ensign William R. Ellis. Precinct—From McKayis Mill to Grand River Ferry, to John O‘Connor’s and to Plasteid’s mill, and all to the North and East of'McKay’s mill.

N0. 6—Capt. Murdock McKinnon, Esq. Lot 14; Lieut. John Plas- tid, do.; Ensign Ambrose McDonald, do. Precinct—From Plas- tid’s Mill to Western Road, including all on both sides of road and all down to Grand River Ferry, on the North side of Ellis River to Connors’ road.

No. 7—Captnin Alexander Allin, Wellington, Lot 16; Lieut. Ar- chibald McAusland; Ensign John McCormick. Precinct—From the North line of Lot 14 on the Western Road, to Quagmire Bridge, including all on Lot 14 on the West and Lot 16 on the North and South of Ellis River.

No. 8—Capt. Andrew Campbell (A’s son) Lot 16; Lieut. John McLiren, do.; Ensign James Hutchinson, do. Precinct—From Quagmire Bridge all residing on Lot 16 to the line of Lot 17.

No. 9—Capt. Edwin Darby, Lieut. Sylvang Arsneaux, Ensign John McNally. Precinct—From the rear of Lot 16 line to Duck Rock, including all north residing on Lot 15.

No. ill—Captain Hugh Gamble, Lieut. William Hibbett, Ensign Alexander Perry. Precinct—From the rear of Lot 1611110 to Duck Rock, including all south of the road on Lot 15.

No. 11- Captain John Baker, Lieut.James Beairsto, Ensign John Cunningham. All from the line between Lots 15 dt 17 to Hugh Carr’s, including both sides of the road.

No. l2—Captain Harry Compton, Lieut. Edward Holland, Ensign Dougald Hunt. Precinct—From Hugh Carr, Esqr.’s to the Court chse in St. Eleanor's, down the Malpeque Road to the line of Lot 19, both sides of the road included.

No. 13—Captain Benjamin Darby, Lieut. Donald Ramsay, Ensign William Cairns. Precinct.—From the Court House to Summer- side, all south, residing on Lot 17 to the line of Lot 19, including Linkletter Road.

NOTICE. E, the undersigned, do hereby give notice, that we have been appointed Commissioners to institute an inquiry with regard to the CLOSING up of the old Road known as Joussros’s ROAD; and further that we will meet those whom it may concern on THURSDAY, the 24th inst., at 10 o’clock, a. m., at the east end of said Road. issued out of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judica- ture, at the suit of Ralph William llrecken against Joseph Mac- Vari sh, I have taken and seized, as the property of the said Joseph McVarish, All his right, title and interest, in and to One hundred acres of Land, a little more or less, with the buildings and appur- tenances thereon , situate on Township No. Thirty-nine, in King‘s County, bounded on the North by land in possession of James Welsh, on the West by land in possession of Donald McVarish, on the East by land in possession of James McVarish, and on the South by farms fronting on the Back Farm Road; and I do hereby give public notice, that I will on the 8th day of January, 1869. at 12 o’clock, noon, at the Old Court House, in Georgetown, in the said County, set up and sell, at public auction, the above recited property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the residue of the levy marked on the said writ, being for the sum of £49 8s 2d. debt, and costs, together with 163 8d for the said writ, besides Sherilf’s fees and incidental expenses.

John Aldzus, Commissioner of Public Lands, against James Campbell, of St. Andrew’s Parish, I have taken and seized, as the property of the said James Campbell, All his right, title and in- tercst, in and to 50 acres of Land, alittle more or less, situate on Township No. 59, in King's County,with the appurtenances there- on; and I do hereby give public notice, that I will, on the 17th of November next, at the Court House in Georgetown, at the hour of 12- o’clock, noon, set up and sell, at public auction, the above re- cited property, to satisfy the levy marked on the said Precept,

being £9 10s 0d, besides Sheriff’s fees and incidental expenses.
