RESULTS OF THE SURVEY

Responses to the survey dis- tributed wuth the March 27th issue of the Cadre numbered one-hundred and thirty.The response in terms of numbers was disappointing but not un— expected. Indeed, public pass— iveness with regard to farm-‘ ing issues was one of the main reasons for undertaking -the survey.

The results published now are a merely preliminary, arithmetical compilation.

A more interpretive invest— igation of the survey is in progress and the results of this will appear later.

Most of the replies to the final question in the survey were extensive and detailed. A summary of these, with selections, will also be -published.
