—r Lounge.Tan members were present,Dean Shaw, Brian Zal -ewski, Len MCCardle, Scott Stevans,3im Larkin, Bruce Crabbe, Kilby Place, Bob Gillie, Bob Gray & Gary walk —er. ‘ Discussion on a Constitution committee being formed to re —view the Constitution was held.This matter was discus —sed previously but no one offered to help on this com -m1ttee.lt was suggested that someone from the PClit -ical Science Department be approached to help in this matter.
Elections: It was moved by Brian Zalewski/Jim Larkin that the date for 1972 Stud —ent Union Elections (Execut -ive & Council) be Madnesday February 23, 1972 with nomin —ations opening at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday February 1 and closi ng at 5:00 P.M. Friday, Febr —uary 11/ Motion carried.
Electoral Commission:
It was moved by Brian Zalew -ski/ Len McCardle that the Electoral Commission consist of 4 members, namely, Sue Randhan, Diane Mac Donald, Anil Joshi, Fred Horne and that their term begin immed -iately and continue to Marc h 1973.
Brian Zalewski suggested the -t the Electoral Commission be responsible for insuring that class elections are properly conducted
Radio U.P.E.I.: A short dis -cussion on the Radio static -n was held, pertaining to staff and operation.
Barn: It was moved by Leon- ard McCardle/Bary walker that a sprinkler system be installed in the kitchen to comply with fire Insurance Regulations.This system to be installed at a cast of $800.00 Motion carried. Questions were put forward on the Presidents State of the Union address and Age of the Majority. It was es ~tahlished that the State of the Union address would 'be prepared and given with in 30 days prior to electi

Many people have been compl —aining about the lack of action on campus lately. Ac -tually there hasn't ever be -en any actipn pm campus. How -ever,I have a few suggesti -ons that may help to allev —iate the problem.
For the bevy of bored beauties of Bernadine, a slow night may be Speeded up by phoning a bomb threat to the A & w and watching the cars scatter.A fun evening can also be had by scheduling an archery tournament and heme -ing the target on the back of the door leading from the main desk into the residence itself. Scoring: 2 points for one of the Bernardine girls, 3 for afiiarion visi tor, 5 for a boy, 10 for a proctor and 25 for Joyce.. No score unless the arrow is driven through the heart and out the back.
The girls in Marion ha -ve ample opportunity for fun and games, especially those who live in the rooms facing the parking lot. Molotov cocktails ALWAYS have a big effect, especial -1y on a Volkswagon van. -ity which is pending ap- proval of council. :Cadre} Discussion was held concerning the cover story of the January 15-72 issue Several council members thought the article to be in extremely poor taste and recommended that some- thing be done to prevent articles of this nature from appearing in the new- spaper in future. Several members of the newspaper staff were present and sta -ted that the intent of th -e article was misinterpre -ted,however,they agreed that something would be done to clarify the situat —ion in the next issueo It was moved by Gary walke -r/Dean Shaw that a commit -tee to study course evalu -ation be set up. The com- mittee will present recom= mendations concerning course evaluation to coun- cil for approval.
