St.’ Dunstan's High School is just one step away from win- ning the Senior A _ Scholastic basketball championship. They defeated Summerside High School 52-33 in the opening game of a two out of three champion- ship played Friday evening at the Saint Dunstan's gymnas- ium

Summerside outplayed the Saints for the first quarter of last evening’s game and led by a score of 10 to 9. The second quarter was very close, but the Saints began to pull away and ‘led Sum-Hi 24 to 17 at the half.

The third quarter was the crusher for the Sum-Hi aggre- gation as the Red and White notched 25 points to lead 49 to 29 and make the last quarter littke more than a formality.
