Ruins Found Near Rome

ROME (AP) — Ruins believed te be that of ancient Lavininum, the town founded by Aeneas, have been unearthed near Rome. Two Kalian archaeologists who have been working on the exca- vations for more than two years are convinced that the ruins date to the Trojan hero, who fled fo the Itatian peninsula after the de- struction of Troy. The ruins have been unearthed at Pratica di Mare, near an air force base 18 miles southwest of Rome.
