Suddenly stricken while in the city, Mr. Mos- hrr was removed to the Charlotte- inwn Hospital where he was under treatment for two weeks. ,

The men of Savage Harbour gathered during the week for the purpose of checking and making any necessary repairs to the tele- phone line running from Griffin's Corner on the 'st, Peter's Road through to the wharf at Savage Harbour. This is a very necessary scrvice and the co-operation which the venture received shows how thoroughly that fact is appreciated ill the district. The work was com- yicted in one day.

Mississippi State halfback who scored Edmonton Eskimos' winning touchdown in the 1954 Grey Cup game against Montreal Aloueties, has been named the most valu- able player of the year in the Western lnterprovincial Football Union.
