Recently, after a partic— ularly sad Panther weekend, a friend remarked that he could- n't understand how we could retain our enthusiasm for the Panther cause when we must ex- perience so much frustration over their frequent losses. We replied that the joy attained after victory more than can— pensated for the depression we might sometimes feel over lack of athletic success. . . . it feels 3) good when we win! Such euphoria was certainly felt by the basketball fans who crowdedour gym on Sunday, when the buzzer sounded to end the exiting thrilling game in which we bested old rival, St. Marys 78-71.
