Printers Burnt Out

People Die of Fright and Exposure.

Every lawyers office, doctor's residence and office, and Protestant clergyman’s resi- dence was burned during the fire. Every daily newspaper and every priuting office in the city has been destroyed. There is not enough type, paper or ink remaining in the city sufficient for printing a single poster. Several houseless persons have died in consequence of fright and exposure. Most of the people are temporarily housed in sheds and tents now, but provisions and clothing are badly need- ed forthem, An insurance agents meeting showed the losses of those insured in agencies bere to amount to a total of tour and @ quarter millivns of dollars. The estimated total loss is fifteen millions. Several persons have been sent to the lunatic asylum in consequence of the terrible shock they re ceived from the fire. The heavy rain which has setin hasended all dangers from forest fires.
